We do our best to ensure accurate product availability, but occasionally stock runs out on popular items. We do not backorder credit card orders for consumers. If, on the rare occasion, a title on the web site runs out of stock, our customer service department will notify you via e-mail. They will try and provide you with an estimated in stock date or offer a possible substitute.
Our Satisfaction Guarantee. If, for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return it, in its original condition, within 10 business days (two calendar weeks) after you have received your order for a full refund, or an immediate replacement. Refunds will be made within 30 days.
Before returning any item, you must e-mail our customer service department within 10 business days of the invoice date, notifying them of your return. Simply contact our customer service department via email with the following information: Invoice number -- Web Order ID Number

Please put the original packing slip in the carton and wrap the package securely. Please use FedEx or Insured Parcel Post for shipment.
If you received an incorrect product or the product is defective or damaged, Globe Pequot will pay for return shipping. Simply notify us in your e-mail that the product is incorrect, damaged or defective, and we will issue a credit for the return shipping.

We only ship orders to U.S. addresses. Orders are shipped via FedEx from our warehouse in Springfield, TN. A combination of a flat fee, plus a per-book rate, applies for each order and prices vary depending on shipping options such as Next Day, 2nd Day, etc. The shipping charges for these choices are calculated in U.S. dollars. This is the rate schedule:
Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico can only be shipped either FedEx 2-day or FedEx First Overnight. No other FedEx services are offered for these locations. AK, HI and PR add an extra $10.00 per shipment for FedEx 2-day and $15.00 per shipment for FedEx First Overnight. *Orders are usually shipped within 72 hours unless FedEx Overnight service is requested. This means that you can expect to receive your package within two weeks of placing an order, depending upon where you live.
Orders placed on weekends are not processed until Monday morning, and orders received after 12:00 noon (EST) are shipped the following morning. We will notify you if an item is on backorder.
Sales tax where applicable is placed on the subtotal (the book amount minus shipping).
International note: Orders to addresses outside the U.S. are not accepted at the site. We are working on re-establishing better options for international shipping, as the Internet is a global medium by nature and we want to handle your orders. Site users from outside the United States may want to consider using one of the large online book sites to order. Some of those sites have divisions located in your countries, which would be the best option of all.
