From the very beginning, Falcon’s mission has been to encourage people to appreciate and preserve our nation’s public lands. This lofty goal, clearly, is not something we would dare endeavor alone. The following are groups and organizations whose like-minded efforts we both praise and support in one form or another. Please take some time to learn more about them and consider how you might also contribute to the great goals that, individually and collectively, these groups represent.



The Access Fund is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to keeping climbing areas open and to conserving the climbing environment.
American Hiking Society is the only national organization dedicated to promoting and protecting America’s hiking trails, the natural areas that surround them, and the hiking experience itself.

American Rivers is a national non-profit conservation organization dedicated to protecting and restoring healthy natural rivers and the variety of life they sustain for people, fish, and wildlife.
Founded in 1876, the Appalachian Mountain Club is America's oldest nonprofit conservation and recreation organization. AMC promotes the protection, enjoyment, and wise use of the mountains, rivers, and trails of the Appalachian region.
BCM is the country's leading volunteer organization devoted to providing significant mentoring during wilderness trips for urban teens participating in existing youth development programs. BCM was created to offer under resourced teenagers participating in existing youth development programs a dramatic learning experience.
Bikes Belong is the national coalition of bicycle suppliers and retailers working together to put more people on bicycles more often. Through national leadership, grassroots grants, and promotion, we work to make bicycling safe, convenient, and fun.
The International Mountain Bicycling Association is a non-profit educational association whose mission is to create, enhance and preserve trail opportunities for mountain bikers worldwide.
To promote bicycling for fun, fitness and transportation and work through advocacy and education for a bicycle-friendly America.

We do this by representing the interests of the nation's 57 million cyclists. With a current membership of 300,000 affiliated cyclists, including 40,000 individuals and 600 affiliated organizations, the League works to bring better bicycling to your community.
The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and inspiring responsible outdoor recreation through education, research and partnerships. Leave No Trace builds awareness, appreciation and respect for our wildlands.
The mission of the National Outdoor Leadership School is to be the leading source and teacher of wilderness skills and leadership that serve people and the environment.
