but I kept thinking about how long we had planned for this adventure.  By the time we arrived at the Phantom Ranch Kat needed medical attention for over-hydration and our daughter&#39;s friend was sitting on a rock whimpering. Me?....I was just beginning to <em>perhaps</em> consider that Kat might<em> possibly</em> have been right! We hiked  out at 2:00 a.m. and proceeded to a luxury resort in Phoenix for recuperation. Seriously
