DON'T BUY THE COLORADO BOULDERING GUIDE

| | | | |

If you are considering buying the new Colorado Bouldering Guidebook by Falcon Guides, RECONSIDER.

Not only is the guidebook full of errors, but it also poses a threat to access to the areas (poorly) detailed in it

A large contingency of the climbing community in Colorado has approached Falcon about not releasing this guide, but the company doesn't seem to care about the gross inaccuracies of the book or the potential problems that it might cause.

If you buy this guide, you are very likely to be extremely frustrated, as a large percentage of the information it holds is INCORRECT.

The Mistakes of Bouldering Colorado

When you entered this site, you probobaly saw that ad for that book.

This book contains several errors involving access.  When addressed with these issues, Falcon just claimed that it was the authors fault.

Admittably, Horan is not innocent, considering he did write a book that puts people on land that is currently off bounds.  I mean, an error here or there is one thing, but when there are as many errors as this book has, it changes a little bit.

However, Falcon knew the information was wrong.

A man at the company named Jess (no last name known) openly admitted that  all of the attacks were good because it can be used as a marketing gimic.
