Robert Hurst

Robert Hurst is an old-school messenger and mountain biker living and working in Denver. After ticking off a few hundred thousand miles as a professional package delivery technician, Robert wrote The Art of Urban Cycling (second edition: The Art of Cycling), which offers a new way of thinking about cycling in traffic. He also wrote two other guidebooks for Falcon, Mountain Biking Colorado's San Juan Mountains: Durango and Telluride and Road Biking Colorado's Front Range. Robert is currently researching a book about the late Roman Republic's struggles with piracy as he waits for the trails to thaw.
