I'll read anything that strikes my fancy. But it has to pull me in -- no sense in struggling to stay interested in a book, no matter how highly recommended. Too much good stuff out there. And few self-help books -- I'd rather have counseling!

Television

Used to be a Survivor fan, but that's gotten old . . . now we watch MythBusters with the kids and crime dramas after they've gone to bed.

Music

My best friend is my iPod. Playlists are geared to my mood. I have a running/walking/skipping playlist that includes everything straight-ahead rock, soft rock, ladies' voices, reggae, flamenco guitar, pop, and country. Different beats for different paces -- makes that workout really fun! Now I need a device that I can swim with . . .

Coffee, beer, diet cola . . . oh, and water, of course . . .
