My Interests

Movies

<p>I wish that I could sound more high-brow, but, I never get tired of Total Recall, Die Hard, Minority Report...pretty much the whole action genre. But, I will admit to having watched the occasional tear jerker with my ex-girfriend...especially Father of The Bride...though technically a comedy it sure struck home with me.</p><p>I love all nature shows, especially any having to do with conservation efforts. Our beautiful, blue home needs all of us to protect it.</p>

Hobbies

What can I say except that I have a lot of hobbies and never enough time to do them all. Backpacking, surfing, scuba diving, flying my plane, trying to work on my second book while waiting expectantly for my first: The Railgods to come to print sometime in May 07.

Books

<p>Currently I am working my way through James Mitchners, Centennial....an awesome book. I like books that challenge me to think beyond my normal comfort zones. Recently bought a statistical Calculus book to keep my mind nimble.</p>

Television

<p>Numbers, CSI NY, and NCIS just for fun. C-SPAN, Wall Street Weekly, Discovery and The History Channel all rate way up there as intelligent shows worthy of my time.</p>

Music

<p>70&#39;s classic rock, lottsa Raggae, Rasta Mon!..and pretty much anything by Metallica. I like some newer stuff by groups like Nickleback, Snow Patrol, Nirvana.</p>

Favorite Beverage

<p>Bailey&#39;s in my coffee,  during the evening, as I unwind from my usually busy day. Not to mention the ice cold Margarita while lounging poolside.</p>

Favorite Food

<p>Blackened catfish with a side of dirty rice and hush puppies.</p>
